An Housemaid who was once on the run has currently landed in prison for allegedly looting employer’s N2.3m property
The housemaod who goes by the name Micah Ruth Francis, according to the records is a 25-year-old lady who has now been detained in the Maroko Division, Lekki, of the Lagos State Police Command.
It has been alleged she stole the whoopimg sum of N2,323,800 worth of property from her employer while she went on vacation.
According to charges labelled against her, the housemaid have been deemed to have stolen a number of designer perfumes, handbags, makeup products, children’s items, and other items valued at N2,323,800.
The arrest came about in the aftermath of the so called owner of the stolen properties lodging a complainant that her property inside the bedroom had been stolen.
A complain which led to the DPO in charge of Maroko Division, SP Afolabi Salau, after days of intelligence gathering Tracking the defendant to a hideout in Lagos and arrested her.
