Are you confuse about where your dating or your relationship is taking you to and you are like is dating a relationship?
To answer that question is dating a relationship, I will start by saying that you can be dating someone for a month or even a year yet you guys are not in a relationship. So No dating is not a relationship.
1 Dating someone is just like trying to see if the person has what it takes to win your heart. Most dating are not already real that’s why most times, you will see people faking it just to bypass pressure from their parents or friends.
2 Dating doesn’t really have to do with a deep connection between two persons, it can just be for fun where a woman or man is still very free to tell someone that he or she is single and not committed.
3 Is dating a relationship; Relationship has to do with deep connection and commitment between two people. You cannot be in a relationship with someone if you are not really in love with that person.
But you can actually be dating someone without having to connect nor love the person deeply.
4 Let’s just say, dating is the first stage in a relationship. Yeah, there are people who prefer to date first before they can now take it to another level of relationship that’s if only things work out between both of them.
5 In dating, communication is not a must, but if you are planning on taking it to a relationship level then it is necessary because when communication is involved in your dating, it sends a signal to the other person that you are developing feelings for her or him.
6 Relationship has to do with compatibility, yeah, it is only during dating that you will know if the person you want to have a relationship with has what you are looking for in your boyfriend/girlfriend material list.

How Long does dating take before relationship
Okay, since we have answered is dating a relationship, from there, we can boldly say that the time frame your dating takes before you start a relationship with the person is up to you.
If you are developing feelings for the person and you are certain that he or she has the principles you are looking for, then you can start a relationship with the person.
It doesn’t have to be six months or a year, some people do start it on the next day of their date while some start some months later.
So you can start yours once you are sure.
How do you know if you are dating or in a relationship
As I said before, a relationship has to do with the connection between two persons, so if you are with someone, yet you are not connected, no communication except when he or she is in need, then that is not a relationship, it is a dating.
