A relationship is a process whereby two individual comes together to build something called love and we know what love is, that means a relationship is one of the hardest targets ever, especially when you and your partner don’t follow the relationship rules which can help you both stand tall together.
Relationships do not just start with the word I love you and then end with I love you too. There are some things you need to avoid and there are some that you need to put in place.
Note that no relationship is perfect, people you see looking happy with their partners make sacrifices that if you are told, you might not believe.
Therefore, to have a happy relationship not just because of what you are earning from it but because your heart is in it, then you have to follow the rules if not all the rules at least some of the relationship rules.
These rules do not come to make your relationship perfect but it comes to strength what you shared with your partner and if you want your relationship to be healthy, then you have to follow these rules.
Now let’s look at a few of the rules that can help us and our relationships.

1 Never Compare your partner to your neighbor: one of the mistakes we do is wishing that our partners can be like the guy next door or like the girl you are crushing on at college, etc.
Comparison destroys emotions and feelings. When you see a woman or a man starting to have feelings for someone else out there, know that there is something they expect from you or to see in you but you are not living to that standard.
The guy next door is tall just like you but known how to dress to impress but you, you only dress just because it is your right to wear clothes.
Advice: if you are having this issue and you need advice on what to do, then I will say this, that’s if you like guys that can dress, go shopping with your guy, or get kinds of stuff for him if you know his measurements, make sure you hand-picked them.
Be his mirror and fashionista, when he dresses good, give him a thumb up, and if not give him a thumb down. This will help bring out that handsome in him that you think that your neighbor has and your guy doesn’t.
So instead of spoiling your relationship for this, transform your man positively. A man who loves you and wants the relationship to work will appreciate your effort by learning to adapt fast to avoid stressing you.
2 Believe in your partner: your partner is not perfect and just like you. But believing in his or her dreams can be the only push in which she needed to reach high places.
Believe in them even when others criticize them, if you think that they are on the wrong path leading to deserter then you can try acting like a mom or a Dad. A man who loves you will listen to your advice.
3 Correct them, don’t abuse them:
Your partner is not the greatest sinner in the whole universe. Know the difference between correction and abuse.
No matter how angry you are with your partner, never use abusive words on them. They are human and their brains still function well.
The issue can be settled later and you forgive them, but that abusive words will always ring a bell in their ears.
If you love your partner, never abuse them be it by words or action, etc. Abuse is abuse once is out in the public, no turning back.
4 Trust: Yeah, I know that trusting people now is hard but then why are you in that relationship if you cannot trust your partner at least 50-70%? Yeah, you heard me right 50-70% I can’t tell you to trust someone 100% because we are all human and change is constant. But then you fell in love with someone and you now decided to establish it by making it known to the other party, why?
This is because you trusted your heart that you love them. So you have to trust them in others to believe in their abilities.
You need trust in others not to compare them to your colleagues at work, etc.
