What is Love?
Being a Doctor, I have been too busy with the work that I got too busy for a relationship, this is not because I didn’t try to be in one but because I couldn’t find the answer to the question of what is love? Yeah, I have been in 3 relationships since college but all end up being jerks will I ever experience love at last? During my final year in college I had a guy Dan which I loved so much and he loved me too or so I thought during the exams period being a medical student, I had to concentrate so with that I and my boyfriend were a little distant. At this period I never knew that my boyfriend was cheating on me until one day I heard my colleague talking about it.
When I decided it find out from him, his line wasn’t connecting, with everything people were saying I couldn’t control my emotions anymore so I decided to visit him that evening since I couldn’t reach him on phone. When I reached his apartment I input the house code, and when inside (are you wondering how I got the passcode? That’s the thing, we were like love bird that every girl wanted their relationship to be like ours, so he gave me that code).
Stepping inside, I was hearing sound from his room like someone was crying and mo*ning at the same time, with that I couldn’t even think straight anymore so I ran up to the room immediately I opened the door, I froze, yes you may be saying when I heard the sound what did I expect. the truth is that I couldn’t believe that my boyfriend cheated on me but what shocked me most was because he was not just cheating on me with any other girl but with my best friend.
I was so heartbroken I couldn’t move for over 5 minutes, I was just there watching them doing their deed in front of me. when I later came back fully to my senses, I dash out from the room, with the emotion in me I hit the door louder than I wanted to, with that they became alert but before they could react, I was out of the house walking as fast as my leg could carry me.
The next morning news was everywhere, both the lecturer and students were all gazing at me since I didn’t know what was happening, I talked into my class immediately I sat down, my lecturer walked up to my sit and asked me if I was okay, with my questioning eye, she now told me that she had heard what happen. That was when I discovered that I was the topic of the school that faithful day. some mocked me while some felt sorry for me.
What I didn’t know was that my so-called boyfriend boosting that he broke up with me and that I was begging him to stay but he said no and choose my best friend over me, He said I was cheap, that any guy who has an interest in me can ask me out, etc. I was shocked, what shocked me most was that under two days, I received a lot of letters from guys asking me out, but I didn’t have a heart for a relationship anymore so I turned all down with that I decided to concentrate on my exams for a better result.

After some months, we were finally done with our final exams and it was time to go home and also graduation was around the corner, since I happened to be among the student welfare official, I had some roles to play for the success of it.
One day I walked into the big hall that was to be used for the occasion, with many students inside doing one thing or the other against the graduation with the happiness seeing the students all cooperating, I didn’t notice that there was a step, so taking one more step, I missed it but before I could fall or before people could notice, someone held me by my waist immediately my body reacted, I don’t know how or why, but my heart was dancing.
When I was finally back on earth, There, he was “Jack”. Jack tall and handsome but socializing with other students? What a No for Jack. when I looked at him and immediately said thank you but instead of responding, he smiling at me. OMG did he just smile at me? I was so happy that I didn’t even know why I did before you know it, my face was red. so I immediately ran away because of shyness.
