After that incident, Seeing Jack every day became one of my plans. I don’t know but being around even if we don’t talk, just made me happy. One day I was sitting at a corner staring at the wall that was painted, admiring it then I heard someone spoke when I turned there he was again, I froze that I couldn’t respond to whatever he said that’s not because I didn’t want to answer, but how can I answer what I didn’t even hear? Yeah, that’s right, I didn’t hear anything he was saying. Seeing him staring at me, I came back from my frozen self and asked him to repeat his question.
then he smile, that smile that was doing a lot to my humble heart, after turning red for some minutes, we started talking and flowing well, during my chat with Jack is when I discover that he was the one that painted the wall. As we were talking, my ex-boyfriend came in with a fake best friend with a other few of his friends, immediately he saw me, instead of minding his business, he walked up to me and started using every folk word he could find within him on me.
I felt back not just because of the students but because of Jack, few seconds he felt someone holding my waist when I looking up, I saw Jack sweetly smiling at me, it was like magic and found myself smiling back when Dan my ex saw the display, they started laughing at me immediately a cold lip was on my mine, I froze and so was Dan and his friends including the students that saw what was going on in the hall.
The shock was not because a guy k*ss a girl but it was because of the person initiating it. Jack the lone wolf? the isolated guy? When we detached, I was dragged out along with him and I return to look back, Dan was still frozen all I could do was smile.
After that day, I and Jack became the topic I felt back because I know it was because of me his name was mentioned when I apologize to Jack, I discovered that he was enjoying the commotion he caused. with that, we started acting like couples just to keep Dan away from me and it was working, no one was able to ridicule me again till our graduation day.
That faith day was my best day, the day I was finally leaving college, but somehow I felt hurt when I try to think why I was feeling hurt, I remember Jack, Yeah Jack, I was going to miss him, I felt bad why we were not close back then why at the dying minute. but is life, we have to move on.
After that graduation day, we separated, I and my parents moved away from the state, after 5 years I was sent back to this state again, the same state everything started. I was happy when I was posted to the hospital here but when I came I was told that Jack left 2 years ago.
I was sad but I don’t know why I was, because is not as if we were dating, but having him around was nice. A year later I was just done with a patient while instructing a nurse who was in charge of the patient, my heart started racing, the hair on my body stood still, I didn’t know why but I felt a gaze when I turned around, there he was just as handsome as I could remember, although he changed his eyes gave him away. during our separation, I was keeping tap on him but in the secret. call me crazy because even I did not know why I did that.
I couldn’t help it when he asked for a hug, I was more than happy to do it. Since many were staring, I decided to drag him into my office, with happiness, I kissed him, wow I did, when I notice what I just did, I couldn’t stare at him instead I was facing the floor, Jack froze for some minutes not long I felt that familiar hand holding me close to his body and k*iss my brain out. In the process of that, we didn’t hear when my office door was open and immediately a small voice sounded in my hear.
