A German woman who is married to a Nigerian man has taken to her Facebook page to applaud herself after she prepared a delicious Ofe Akwu (palm nut soup) for the first time.
The woman identifies herself as “Baby Oku Germany” on Facebook and she took her page on October 6, to share photos of the soup she made for her Nigerian husband. 
According to the white lady, She noted that her husband was awestruck when he came home to see that she has prepared the delicious Ofe Akwu soup by herself. While sharing a photo collage of the meal she prepared, she attached it with some write-ups in her words she wrote
“Today me chief Baby oku was in high spirtit as iIdey cry for my favorite place in this World 042 ngwo enugu state naija , Igbo Land, I still dey for my remeberance … so i rush buy everything to carry myself back to village …. the result was ofe akwu.
“My oga nearly died as He came home and saw the Pot. I know say as oyibo me I try weller. Nwanji ocha done commot from my body since oooh! From today make una no call me oyibo again. My ofe akwu was tasting unexpected delicious. Is my first time preparing it.”

Meet LaRae Perkins a 40 years woman from Compton, California who has been struggling with with hair growing on her face her right from her infant stage.
According to LaRae, at age 12, she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) which is an unbalanced illness that affects woman ovaries, and results in creating of male’ hormones in excess. 
According to her, the condition never made her growing up fun and easy for her as people would often question her if she was a man or a woman, asking her things like which often made her to feel ashamed and embarrassing.
In an interview with Daily mail UK, LaRae recalled that must atimes she feel lonely but she learn to embarrassed her shame and never let anyone discouraged, and confused her, she said it took a long time for her to accept and love the person she sees in the mirror,’ but she has now ‘chosen happiness over ignorance’
She also stated that she is now proudly growing out her beard, and she has promised never shave or wax again according to her, she claimed it was ‘destroying’ her face. 
In her recent interview, she droped a long speech see her speech in full.
I currently don’t treat my PCOS or hirsutism. I do not agree with any of the recommended treatments for my type of PCOS,’ she explained
‘Treatments include laser hair removal, waxing, and shaving. I love my face and skin too much to destroy it or cause more issues by trying to remove something that will never go away and I have no control over.
‘I will never shave because I love my face and don’t want to cause more issues than just having a beard, my appearance is important to me and having skin that has dark marks, pigmentation, or even razor bumps would make me sad and feel less beautiful.’
‘The feedback that I receive has been positive and negative, I only focus on the positive and use the negative as fuel to continue influencing and educating people,’ she stated.
‘Nothing hurts more than being asked, “What are you?” I had to grow a tough skin over the years, causing me to make myself choose happiness over ignorance.
The internet can be cruel but I am hoping my journey inspires other to embrace who they are.
‘My favorite compliment is, “You should be a motivational speaker,” and who knows, maybe someday I will be.
‘I have embraced my hirsutism by learning to love myself despite what others may think or have comments about and I want to lead by example for others, I would be a hypocrite if I had not learned to love myself first.’
‘Do your homework on the condition, get tested, and ask yourself who you love and care more about, yourself or society’s judgement on who you are,’ urged LaRae.
‘Self esteem and confidence are a must to get past what the world defines as normal.
‘We “bearded women” are not normal but we are human. You must love yourself, flaws and all, to be respected or you will just be a person hiding and trying to fit in this non perfect world.
‘I took the chance by standing out and using my voice to bring awareness and respect to all women with facial hair.
‘It has been the greatest journey and I am so glad I did it and if because of me even one woman feels she can embrace her natural self then I will have something to be proud of, it will have been worth it.

According to report, Mariam tied the knot with her lover Toyin Bello, a liquid soap vendor who lost his sight about seven years ago.
When she was asked why she took such a blod step of getting married to a blind man, Mariam said she fell in love with Bello and turn deaf ears to all negative comments from people.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Toyin said
that Mariam came to him, saying she was interested in marrying him.
According to Toyin he said he was surprised when the lady insisted on getting married to him. He asked her on several occasions why and she said she loved him.
