A housemaid identified as Lyn Thomas is set to bag a Degree in Public Health from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York, United States according to her, she stated that she worked as a nanny for several decades after moving to New York at a young age to join her mother.
Lyn Thomas also stated that a got pregnant at the age of 26 but the father of her child run away before she gave birth to her daughter “Her father left us before we even got to the hospital where she was born,” she stated.
She also revealed that a few years later still got married to another man, but the marriage also crashed because her husband has issues with addiction.
Despite all the challenges she went through, Thomas fought to achieve her dream of having a Degree. She added;

“I worked very hard for this. I didn’t have a high school diploma. Because I’m a go-getter, you can’t tell me no. I will do it,” Thomas said.
Thomas explained how she got to school she said that enrolled at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) in New York City and was among the oldest among her classmates. “My experience at BMCC was awesome,”
She added that she had been accepted into the colleges for Public Health program. With the assistance of her daughter.

Thomas finally added
“A few years ago, I made a promise to my daughter, that one day my college degree would be hanging next to her degree on one of our walls at home,” said Thomas. “I will get to fulfill that promise in just a few weeks,” she said.
