When I was younger and hear people using the word, “grow up” to mature people I do wonder how can I grow as a person? If a mature person can be told to grow up does that mean that it is a different kind of growth? All these questions were always running through my mind until one day when I decided to research and that was how I was able to get my answers.

To grow as a person means to improve your level of understanding about life. 1 Think before you act: kids react according to how they feel so if you want to grow as a person, you must reason very well before you react or decide on the next move to avoid you regretting it later.

No matter your temper, never act according to it. For example, if you are in a hot temper, ensure that you try and work on it not to change it completely but to put it in check.
3 Be accommodative: Most people don’t listen to others talking not because they are busy but because they believe that they are perfect and cannot make any mistake in their life.
If you want to grow as a person, you have to try and be giving room to other people to voice out their observations or opinions be it helpful or not but at least they try.
4 Stop the fantasy world: it is normal for us to wish for something once in our lives but it is another thing for you to keep living in that dream even when we know that it is just a dreamland. 6 Try out some new things: You will never know what you are capable of if you never set your mind to try something out. Do you want to grow as a person? Then you need to try something new.

7 Stop making fun of people: When I was in high school, I used to see all those bullies making fun of the younger ones or smaller ones in the school because to them, they were better than them. Well, that’s what their mind told them but if you want to sit down and check, you will discover that those they are bullying are way better than them.
