“God bless the day I met you” Adekunle Gold celebrates wife, Simi on her birthday, gifts her a custom-made diamond necklace (Video)

Popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has written an emotional message for his wife his Simi, as she turns 35 today.

 

The singer took his wife to Marrakesh in Morocco to celebrate her birthday.

 

Marrakesh is renowned for its opulence, 5-star dining establishments, and upscale spas.

 

Adekunle Gold thanked Simi on his Instagram page for supporting him throughout all of their shared experiences. He posted some stunning photos of Simi with the beautiful gift he got for her.

 

The singer recalled how he first saw Simi at Bogobiri ten years ago and thanked her for being his inspiration during that time. He promised to provide her a wonderful life.

 

He wrote:

 

“God bless the day I met you at Bogobiri 10 years ago. 10 years of being my magic. I’m grateful for you, for everything you do. Been through it all with you so as we start to dey chop life now, we go live it up to the fullest. Orente mi, Ati lowo, Ati nile lori, Ati bimo, Alafia njoba ninu ile’wa, Aye wa dun bi oyin. 😇 Happy Birthday Girl of my youth”.

Popular Nigerian musician, Adekunle Gold speaks on his marriage to his wife Simi, opens up on the success of their marriage.

 

Adekunle Gold talked about how fortunate he feels to be married to a woman who appreciates his job in an interview with Famouz TV.

 

He acknowledged that their marriage was still young and said he was still learning how to balance work, family, and other responsibilities.

 

He claims that even when he is away on business, he still makes sure to check in with them and keep track of their schedule.

 

He acknowledged that he is aware of when they are awake and takes care to act accordingly.

 

Even if the couple might use some help with some tasks, he always gives his wife and daughter his undivided attention while he is at home.

 

In his words:

 

“It’s crazy, I mean, I’m still in the early stage, yea. But I’m learning every day to prioritize, like, family more. You know and when it’s time to work, we work, right?

 

Like I’m on a work trip now but I don’t feel to check in all the time. You know, I know when they will be up. So, I make sure I follow through and all of that, and then, when we are home it’s strictly at home.

 

Maybe work a little bit alongside. It’s been interesting and I’m blessed that I’m married to somebody that understands it. You know, if was married to somebody that doesn’t just understand the life of a singer”.

 

Adekunle Gold discussed the idea behind his song “One Woman” in another section of the interview.

 

Adekunle Gold acknowledged that he prefers to date a single woman.

 

He also said that he is a shameless lover and that he thinks the world only has a few people like him.

 

“You know, I just wanted to talk about how I am one woman type of guy and shameless lover man just wanted to talk.

 

And I feel like there are still a few of us left in the world.

 

So yea, let’s celebrate each other kind of”he added.

Adekunle Gold displays the big house he gifted his mother on her birthday

Adekunle Gold has shared a video of the enormous house a few days after he surprised his mother with it for her birthday.

While giving her a tour of the lovely multi-million home, he posted videos of it on his Instagram story.

The excited singer wrote : “I can’t believe this my life”.

Recall that On the 16th of March, Folakemi Kosoko,  Adekunle’s mother turned 60. There was a huge celebration in an unknown location that day.

A wide range of people, including celebrities like Falz, Kiekie, and others, attended the celebration.

In a video posted on her Instagram story,  Kiekie described how Adekunle Gold gave his mother the deed to a new house for her birthday. The video was created out of excitement.

Kiekie wrote: “Adekunle bought his mum a gadammmmmm house!”
