Actress Christabel Egbenya has warned young women who do everything for their lovers in an effort to make them look like a wife material.
The mother of one stated this in response to a viral video of a girl who spent all of her savings on her partner, who then disappeared to another country with another woman.
Giving a man money, in Christabel Egbenya’s opinion, won’t get him to propose to you. She also issued a warning to women who spend days washing, cleaning, and engaging in a variety of sensual activities on their man’s bed.
“This message if for all you who are yet to get married, yet you pack your bags to manâs house turning yourself into his wife. You will wash, iron, cook his foods. Wash his bathroom and give him access to all your sexual parts. Tomorrow when he dumps for another person, you will start crying and complaining. Why will he not dump you? When you have offered him all you have. Stop being a wify when he has not paid your bride price, she Said.
âAsk around, for me I donât go menâs house to cook when I was still single. Cook and wash for you? Have I finished cooking and washing for myself? If I manage to go a manâs house to spend a day, he would be thankful. Because, I donât usually do that. Also stop giving them money, so you will not be disappointed when they eventually end up not marrying you.âshe added.
The actress asserted during an appearance on Egbenya TV’s “Talk Show” that a man’s reluctance to marry the woman he truly loves is never due to a lack of money.
She claimed that such a man would even borrow money in order to marry the woman he truly loves.
âIf a man wants to marry you, he will not delay you; heâll marry you. Men actually know what they want. Iâm telling you the truth. If a man is in love with you and wants to marry you, he will not waste time.â
