Self acclaimed relationship and mental Therapist, Blessing Okoro Nkeiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO has been placed in custody until May 30 for suspected cyber-bullying, defamation and showing unedited movies.
This came after her arrest on March 30th by the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Alagbon.
The prosecution counsel, Rotshang Faith Dimka of the Force Headquarters in Abuja, claimed during her arraignment that on October 16, 2022, Blessing intentionally sent messages through her Instagram handle @officialblessingceo to bully, threaten, and harass Folashade Samuels, also known as Mamajazz, the younger sister of the late Bimbo Ogbonna, wife of automobile businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.
Blessing was also accused of using her Instagram page to tarnish the image of Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna by exposing them to hatred, scorn, and mockery.
Some of the messages allegedly exchanged by Blessing Okoro, according to the police, include:

The family of late Bimbo is after IVD’’s properties and life. Especially her elder sister Mamajazz. Bimbo and IVD are well-known people in Lagos and it’s not a hidden fact that even in their estate that Bimbo is violent.

I will ask Mamajazz, the late Bimbo’s sister few questions…where you in talking terms with your sister before (she) died?”
The defendants had violated Section 24 (2)(a)(1) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc) Act, 2015, Section 375 of the Criminal Code Act, and Section 33 of the NFVCB Act, 2004. The accused pled not guilty after hearing the charges.
The case was presided over by Judge Yelim Bogoro, who ruled that Blessing Okoro be remanded in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) until May 30, when her bail application would be heard.
